Ibis Styles Bobigny Centre Prefecture Hotel

It was just a proper fit for a lightning stop in Bobigny with attractive and competitive value for money. The friendly staff even helped us call a taxi when we arrived late at night, made our morning much easier. Make sure to plan your meals ahead as there aren't many places nearby.

Appreciated spacious double room with clean bathroom, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The location was good because it was next to the metro and tam/buses, which by the way is conveniently close and something much nearer the centre...

Comfy beds but breakfast consistently ran out.

It is within walking distance of a main metro station, a tram stop, and has a city bus stop practically right out front. It appears to be the French equivalent of a Super 8 or Motel 6 - right on a main highway, has fenced parking for cars, and gives you a clean quiet room and a few basic amenities. I would say it is ideal for the budget traveller or the weary driver or family who needs a place to land for the night. Hint to travelers - it has a red lighted sign that says Hotel which is visible from a good distance, but you have to be very close to see the Balladins part. It is between a tire shop and another hotel with green lighting.

You can't actually see the Pablo Picasso Station from the hotel, but if you follow the tram tracks back around the municipal buildings you will get to it (and vice versa to find the hotel if you're coming off the metro). I was there for a weekend trip, and the hotel restaurant is not open Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights. The breakfast buffet seems a bit pricey given that the food is similar to what you can get at a US motel and would be included in your room rate.

It was close to the metro to get to Paris city centre

The breakfast options were so limited it was laughable-cereal, bread, and cheese, how innovative! My room was dirty upon arrival, with hairs on the sheets, and I definitely expected a complimentary kettle, that's just standard. I almost wrote a positive review, but just couldn't deal with such negligence.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - but you had to speak some French. I got by with a very limited ability in French and lots of patience from the staff. The evening meal choice was limited but good and served in a buffet style - great for hearty appetites. Breakfast was typically French and also good... Don't go expecting eggs and bacon but if croissants and good fresh bread with ham and cheese is your thing its fine.

I was visiting the Paris air show so the hotel was ideally located for me. If you are a tourist you will need to use the rer. Bobigny has nothing to offer. The only other restaurant around is the Hotel Camapanile, a 5 min walk away, so if you want more than basic fare eat while you are in a tourist location and just use the hotel for sleeping.

Staying here was a mixed experience. The room size was cramped and, unfortunately, there was a lingering smell, made it uncomfortable. Breakfast was limited and left much to be desired. On the bright side, I encountered one staff member whose really good service stood out. He made my mornings much brighter.

Hotel suitable only for sleeping, very simple, no view.

Cleanliness & room size were good.

1) The cleaning staff broke the potty seat of our baby and didn't even inform us. When we complained at the reception the receptionist was not apologetic at all; he said such things happen & brazenly told us "you can buy it in the stores". This attitude was absolutely unacceptable to us. 2) One of the receptionist was also somewhat racial. We once asked if he can call a taxi for us. He said he can do it only after 45 minutes as he is busy managing the dinner for a big group of guests. When we requested him for the phone number so that we could call ourselves, he said he did not know. 3) Also the hotel was too far away from the city center. They advertised that the metro station was close which was actually 500 mt off the hotel but this metro station itself was at least 30-40 minutes away from the city center. So very inconveniently located.

The locked carpark gave peace of mind, and the pet-friendly vibe was a nice bonus for my furry friend.

Easy to get to by car, plenty of secure car parking, reasonably close to Metro and shops

Very comfortable beds and pillows. It was good to have the facilities of a restaurant on site.

Only essentials provided. We would have liked one English tv channel eg BBC World, and the ability to turn it off (the blue on light was very bright at night!). A clock (radio?) would also have been helpful. no tea/coffee making, so a vending machine would be nice.
